​Financial  strength of a construction company is the cornerstone of success.  To  achieve proper financial strength the company's’ projects must be run  exceptionally well.  To run a construction project successfully, the  project manager has two budgets that they are responsible for.  Budget  one is the fiscal budget; managing sub-contractor costs and risks as  well as the general conditions and overhead of the project.  The second  is the budget of time.  The time that is originally set for a  construction project carries with it a schedule of all associated costs  to run the project in that time frame.  When project schedules are  delayed it affects relations with the client, but more importantly, it  affects the fiscal health of the project and its budgeted allotment of  overhead time and expenses.
